LONDON, KOMPAS.com - A British Airways flight London-Tunis route reportedly forced to land in France after two passengers, drunk and fighting.
Two passengers were two middle-aged women aged 50 and 43 years old. They drink alcohol and then fight and even issued harsh words in front of children passengers.
They even refused to back down in his chair each and threatened to force his way into kokpot. One passenger even heard of them threatened to chase down and kill the families of the crew of British Airways.
Other passengers claimed that the current Boeing 737-400 aircraft was being flown at an altitude of 30,000 feet, the women use the toilet on the plane smoking.
Unable to pacify the two passengers, the pilot eventually steer the aircraft to land at the airport in Lyon, France. There, local police were waiting and immediately detained the two women.
Both police custody overnight stay in Lyon before finally repatriated to the UK. British Airways management finally banned the women use the airline for life.
About the diversion routes to France, the British Airways said it was all done for the comfort and safety of passengers.
"Our customers and our crews are entitled to a safe and comfortable flight. We can not tolerate the actions that disrupt our flight, "said a spokesman for British Airways.
