FAA Will Evaluate the Boeing 787 Dreamliner

                            

WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com - The U.S. Federal Aviation National Agency (FAA), Friday (01/11/2013), stating immediately conduct an evaluation of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner following a series of incidents in recent years.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, FAA Administrator Michael Huerta and Boeing Commercial President Ray Conner is scheduled to hold a news conference at 21:30 pm related to this issue.

FAA's decision following a series of incidents that override the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Recent problems reported maskapa All Nippon Airlines (ANA), on Friday. ANA said it found a crack in the cockpit windshield on one aircraft and aircraft fuel leak at other Japanese domestic flights.

Earlier, ANA and Japan Airlines (JAL) reported five problems that plagued Dreamliner within five days.

On Monday (01/07/2011), JAL owned Dreamliner aircraft fire while landing in Boston after a flight from Tokyo. Lucky no casualties in the incident.

On the next day, JAL was forced to cancel flights after about 40 gallons of fuel tumbah to Boston airport runway. Furthermore, ANA also canceled domestic flights after finding the braking problem.

The incident on Friday was the latest blow to the reputation of the Dreamliner, the new aircraft are made with mostly made from lightweight carbon kompist to save fuel.

A series of delays in the aircraft manufacturing process then continues with a host of problems since the ANA began to operate Dreamliner since opening in October 2011.
