GOI Send Help 2000 Tons of Rice to the Philippines
MANADO, KOMPAS.com - A total of 2,000 tons of rice and 2,500 units of tents and 2,500 blankets sent the Government of Indonesia to the Philippines, on Friday (01/11/2013) yesterday.
Assistance transported by KRI Makassar Port of Bitung archipelago was sent to the Philippines Mindanao residents were hit by tropical storm Bhopa some time ago.
"This grant is the second tranche of aid given by the Indonesian government. The first phase has been submitted directly by Menkokesra with Armed Forces Commander and the Governor of North Sulawesi, some time ago, "said Secretary General of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Budi Adiputro.
