KOMPAS.com - A handful of hard-line clerics to protest against the policy of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, who raised 30 women as an adviser to the king in the Shura Council. The group, wrote AFP on Wednesday (01/16/2013) quotes YouTube , said that the appointment was not fair. "The appointment was not mewakli of all sizes," said one protester.

The group also asked that the clergy received a similar position at the Shura Council. In Saudi Arabia, 150 members of the Shura Council are appointed by the king to give consideration about policy. King Abdullah lifted 30 women on Friday (01/11/2013).

The kingdom said that the decision was the appointment in consultation with religious leaders of Saudi Arabia. The woman who advised King Abdullah graduated from university and human rights activist (HAM). Then, two of the 30 women were members of the royal princess.
