It urges EU Member States Support Israel
JERUSALEM, KOMPAS.com - The European Union asked all 27 member states to suspend all financial transactions that aid activity Israeli settlements in the West Bank. Similarly, an internal report found in Jerusalem, Wednesday (02/27/2013).
In the thick 15-page report, the European Union also called for member states to ensure that imports of various products from the settlements do not get the privilege rates.
In addition, the European Union called on all imports from the region are clearly labeled to indicate that the product is the result of dri occupied Israel.
Documents written EU-led missions in Jerusalem and Ramallah, the report filed nine recommendations related to Israeli settlements and six recommendation regarding financial transactions related to or supporting the construction of settlements in the occupied territories.

Relations between Israel and the European Union tightened in recent months since the European loud membangin against Israel plans 5000 new housing units in and around East Jerusalem.
As long as Israel is concerned the 27-nation European Union, which is a major trading partner, would impose trade sanctions related activity Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
