Sectarian Clashes in Lebanon It kills 23 people

                            

BEIRUT, KOMPAS.com - At least 23 people were killed in clashes between Sunnis and Alawites in Tripoli, Lebanon, since the unrest broke out on Sunday (19/05/2013).

bloodiest day was Thursday (05/23/2013) after 11 people were killed in 24 hours. Similarly, a Lebanese security source told AFP .

In addition to those killed, 167 were wounded in the clashes that the majority of residents of Jabal Mohsen Alawites and Sunnis from the district of Bab el-Tebbaneh.

Bloody clashes in Tripoli has appeared sporadically since the conflict broke out in Syria in March 2011. In any unrest in Tripoli, a resident of the district's second most frequently involved.

Outside of the two districts, the Tripoli city life of 500,000 that was normal. However, traffic is less crowded, a number of schools were closed, but some stores still operate as usual look.
